PIG OUT in the park

So we went to my kind of event last night it is called pig out in the park. This is a huge event and tons of people go and just pig out all night long. They have over 40 different vendors and lots of food and music, blow up toys for the kids and lots of fun. They have all different types of food from Thai to indian, to burgers, pizza, gyros you name it. We did the thai food which I absolutely love and of course chicken nuggets and corn on the cob for Kaden. I couldn't believe though what they had to eat...there was a thing of fries that was literally the entire batch that went down in the grease and they serve it in a huge brick and you just pull the fries off one by one this could have easily fed 6 hungry men, they also had chocolate dipped cheesecake on a stick!!! YUM! I didn't try it because by the time I was hungry again I didn't want to do the walk or deal with the crowds of people or lines.

So this is one of the many cool things about this park. It is a huge little red wagon. Kids can climb up into the wagon and the handle is a slide. There are always tons of kids & Moms and they just run up and down over and over. It really is a lot of fun. Kaden loves to climb up the big steps which makes me nervous.
Kade and Kaden sliding on the slide. Kade has a twin brother the three of them would slide down together it was pretty cute!
The scary steps...

Boring Saturday

So Chris and I have been getting things done around the house which is so boring for Kaden. Kaden loves to be outside and can totally entertain himself so I let him play our on our balcony. He climbs all over the air conditioner the chairs and the table. This morning he was making a blowing noise, Chris and I looked over to find this. We couldn't help but laugh he thought it was so fun making faces. My window is now covered with little prints. It was sad though because after all the fun and games he fell off and onto the cement hard. His head hit so hard that as I was running to the rescue I was worried about how much blood I would find. I think he is ok though there was no bleeding just lots of tears, I have been watching him close today though to make sure he is acting normal!

Go team...

This week has been fun the law school has had a lot going on for orientation. I have met a lot of moms which is great! We have already set up play dates for the pool and park by the river which has been wonderful! The law school did a BBQ Tuesday night and then Wednesday we went to a baseball game. One of the mom's has twins that are a year older than Kaden he loves it he just runs around where ever they go!

My cute guys

So I had to post a couple pictures of my two cute boys in their tuxedos. Kaden was funny he thought he was the center of attention all night. He didn't realize that the bride was. He was dancing all over to the music and enjoying the chocolate fountain. I was surprised that his boutiner stayed on as long as it did.

Isn't my husband hot! He is such a good dad and husband I feel very lucky! We have been so busy lately but I wanted to tell him a very happy belated birthday and thank him for all he does. He started school again this week. This is going to be a grueling semester in law school. I am grateful for all he does for our little family. THANKS babe, we love you!

Here is Kaden dancing around the fountain he did this all night long it was pretty cute!

Moving day

So this was a sad day...Chris thought it was nerdy that I was taking pictures but I loved living here in American Fork. I loved our home which is still for sale if anyone is interested. Things I loved the most were the kitchen and Kaden's room. Probably because these are the two rooms I spent the most time in. I loved the shutters and the colorful wall and all the detail to the kitchen and living room (ok I better stop and just enjoy the great things about were we live now). I will post pictures when it is more than just boxes everywhere. The moving truck was huge Chris looked little driving it. It was 26 feet and packed to the brim. It was sad too I don't think that one piece of our furniture didn't get scratched, dinged or have holes in it. Moving stinks!!! I now know why people hire other people to do it.

Congrats Jer & Dakota

So Jeremy the brother who said he would never get married, got married! They were married in SLC on 8.8.08. It was a great day a little rainy in the morning but it cleared up and turned out to be a very beautiful day!

Busy, Busy..

So life has been a little bit crazy between our vacation to Vancouver to celebrating birthdays and weddings, to moving to Washington life has just been busy. Jeremy's wedding (my brother) was fun it was raining that morning but turned out to be a beautiful day. After the wedding on 8.8.08 we started packing and cleaning. We packed up Wednesday and Thursday of last week it was difficult Chris and I did it alone. Chris wanted to try to get it packed just right so that we could share a moving van to cut down on cost. It didn't work we have so much stuff! But in the mean time Kaden was running up and down the ramp climbing up the truck hanging off the back it was a nightmare, luckily I have the sweetest neighbor in the whole world. She offered to take Kaden while she was busy getting packed up for a camping trip. We made her late to leave on her trip and I felt bad but was so grateful for such an incredible person! We will miss having the Norton's as neighbors Chris thinks he is going to try to convince them to move to wherever we are when we settle down, good luck!! We drove throughout the night on Thursday which was scary I was almost falling asleep we had to stop for a couple hours so needless to say the drive took 14 plus hours. Kaden was so good through. We were also lucky enough half way through moving all our stuff some kind neighbors here helped with heavy things and even kept an eye on Kaden. I am so grateful for kind people it makes me want to try harder to extend a hand to others! We are almost moved in and organized which is good Chris starts another semester tomorrow so here we go again. I will post pictures as soon as I can. Love and miss you all!

Summer Favorites...

I love the summer especially late summer when the garden is actually producing things that you can eat. I had to post this picture because I thought it was so cute. Kaden has really gotten into eating lately. I can give him anything and it is gone. It suprises me how much this little guy can eat. He eats more than me at some meals. The other day we gave him corn. I was cutting it off of the cob because I didn't think he could eat off the cob. He kept pointing at it so I let him have a lick pretty soon the lick was biting and he would only eat the corn if he was eating it off of the cob. I thought it was pretty cute.

A Day at the Fair...

Grandma and Grandpa took us to spend the day at the fair. It was a lot of fun, Kaden was too little to ride the rides so that was a bummer but the animals were fun! Kaden would get up to the gate really close to get a good look but if the animals came near him or if they touched him he would run away scared it was cute. The owner of one of the largest bulls thought it would be fun to put Kaden on his back and get a picture. Kaden didn't think that riding the 2300 pound bull was fun he screamed and was more scared that I have ever seen him.

Kaden is pouting here because we were all teasing him that he hairdo looked a little bit like this llamas.

Here he is with Grandma and Grandpa...Kaden didn't knowwat to think about Betsey this may be a little close for comfort.
