My Baby

So it seems like when I take Kaden placed lately people are always suprised when I tell them how old he is. They always think that he is 18 months and not only a year. He does walk well for his age, is into EVERYTHING and has become a climber. Some days he climbs to the top of my barstools and will just squeal because he can't get down... I think it scares him. Today after I got him ready for church and we were playing was the first time that I thought where did my little baby go...he looks so much like a little boy to me now!!

Getting Bigger!

meal time has become crazy! Kaden thinks he is big and should eat like everyone else. He likes to try to use a spoon when he does though more ends up in his chair than in his mouth!

Chris started law school at GU it has been exciting, busy and a little bit sad too. Kaden every day while he is gone has said DaDa over and over all day. He is a little more clingy which I guess is expected since Chris was watching him everday while I worked! We are excited for Chris though and the new adventure that life is bringing.

My little guy is 1!!!

We had a very special and fun birthday party for Kaden. He had a cars cake...and cars hats....

A day at the zoo...

Kaden loves all the dogs, cats and birds by our house. It is fun to watch how intrigued he is by animals. We decided that since it was a couple days before his birthday we would take him to the zoo. It was such a fun day I had only planned on staying a couple hours but we ended up staying all day! I got a few good pictures but most of the time his concentration was totally focused on the animals.

Happy Easter

So we didn't really have Easter on Easter day because Kaden & I were in Vegas, but we did celebrate and Kaden was really cute he could open the eggs. Instead of putting candy in the eggs they had goldfish, or crackers or cereal how boring!!! One day though I am sure we will fill them with candy...

Maui, Hawaii

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. We went to Hawaii and then getting back to work and into the swing of things was difficult however I will try to blog a little bit more. I am getting less busy so hopefully that helps. We had so much fun in Maui, I don't think I would take Kaden again but the grandparents enjoyed him and Chris and I even got away for some snorkeling and some body surfing. We swam around with this huge sea turtle forever it was a lot of fun!
