Seattle...

I have been trying to upload and organize all my pictures it has been quite the task. I came across our pictures of our trip to Seattle. Anyone who hasn't been there needs to go it is so much fun & there is SOOO much to see and do. The Aquarium was fun, but I must admit it was a little disappointing after visiting the Newport, OR Aquarium.

They did have fun exhibits where you could touch all the different sealife. It was octopus week when we went so they had some big Octupus which were cool to see swimming around.

The sight and shopping were fabulous. We had fun just wandering around the city and seeing the skyline. Our hotel was within walking to everything so we did a lot of walking.

The space needle...It was too late and really foggy to go up inside by the time we made it there but it was cool to see, maybe next time!
I was so excited to see pikes market and it was nothing what I thought it would be. I thought there would be fish being thrown all around and yelling. It was hectic busy and there were lots of cool little stands to buy just about everything...it was like a big fish farmers market.

We got the fish, chips and chowder at Jacks...yummmmy! We had a great time! I keep trying to convice Chris that we should drive up to Vancouver B.C. and stop in Seattle so we can do it all again. We have got to go and see it all while we close and before we are are done with school, because then who knows where we will be?

Beckham's Birthday

So we waited to celebrate Beck's birthday until Chris came to visit over the 4th of July! We had a lot of fun we did the annual trip to pineview to go boating. Beck had two birthdays and everybirthday that Beck had Kaden thought he needed to have. (I think Kaden ended up having 3 birthdays, fitting I guess since he just turned 3). We had cake and icecream and opened gifts while camping with my family. I can't believe my baby is one already, it is sad how fast they change and get big.

Giveaway...

I never post about these giveaways. But last week a lot of blogs gave the silhouette machine away. I was out of town and didn't see the posts. I was totally bummed because it looks much better than the cricut and has tons of functions and options. I was checking it out tonight and found another giveaway check it out at projectnursery.com!

No more terrible 2's....I hope!

Well Kaden's birthday isn't for another week but we decided to celebrate the special day early since Chris was going to be gone. I was worried he was going to be sad not having all his friends at his party. He talked about them the whole way to chuckee cheese. But once his cousins got there and the fun started he was not at all disappointed. We had a fun time!
All he talked about for weeks was how he was going to have his party at Chuckee cheese. How could I say no to that when he was so excited about it!?
He asked for a Jungle/Madagascar cake for his party. He also told me for weeks that this was the cake that was going to be at his birthday. I hope it was what his little mind was set on!

Thank you everyone for making this such a special day. It is all he has talked about since and he is already talking about next year! He has already informed me that next year he is going to have a monster party and cake! We will see what happens in a year?

Crazy, crazy crazy!

My head has been spinning. These past few weeks have been crazy! I am so proud though of my hubby! He finished his second year of law school (one more to go)! This summer is going to be crazier then ever. Chris got an internship working for Intel in AZ! We are so excited because this is such a great opportunity for Chris since he would like to do patent and IP law! Because it is just for the summer the boys and I are just going to bounce back and forth between Utah, Washington and Arizona! We are so proud of our Daddy, even though we will miss seeing him everyday!

Things that make you go ew ew ewh...

I know I am a slacker I have felt so overwhelmed in my life lately that the blogging has been pushed to the bottom of the list! I decided to visit my family during finals after realizing it was going to be a long week of no sleep and a teething baby. We had a great time and I had a lot of help from my family. I wished they lived closer the extra hands and naps were so much appreciated! We went nonstop and I think my kids were so exhausted they slept better than I have ever seen them sleep. Too bad that didn't continue after we got back home.
Here's what we were able to see and do...thanks family we had fun & miss you guys!
We spent a long weekend at my mom's condo in St. George while we were there we found this cute little park downtown and my kids loved it when we weren't in the pool Kaden was begging to go here...
Beck also loved it but for other reasons. Everytime I would turn away even for a minute he was chewing at the red rock or trying to get a drink. His mouth was covered in red dirt eeeeewwwwhhhh!

There was a little river, waterfalls and splash pad and lots of red rock stepping stones...little boy heaven!

We love to visit the museums and had never gone to the Discovery Gateway. It was a cute museum however we had to battle the two elementary grade schools that were there it was complete chaos but that didn't stop my busy boys!

"Look ma an onion...looks like something I should eat yum yum!" EEEEWWWHHHH! What don't little kids put in their mouth YUCK!

We beat the millions of gradeschool kids to the helicopter and Kaden thought this was awesome he had it all to himself!
I know you have already thought to yourself eeewwwh a couple of time and if not then I will really get you with the next think that makes you go ew ew ewh! So Kaden convinced mom and grandma that he needed an octopus that blows bubbles. He is obsessed with bubbles lately and we went through many containers of them! The day we got the bubble blowing octopus machine we went outside to see him work...even though it had been raining. There were many snails out on the sidewalk because of the rain. My boys really hadn't seen that many snails so they thought it was neat and were inspecting them QUITE closely, one snail in particular was in the middle of the sidewalk and not moving very quickly. Kaden was so funny to watch blowing bubbles and jumping up and down with excitement. Beckham was also cute curiously inspecting the snail. I thought I need to run in and get my camera. My mom was kind of watching them from the entryway (it was cold and I was only gone like literally 30 seconds). I came back out and said, "where did that snail go, did Kaden move it?" just as I looked down Beck looked up with his big brown eyes and check poking out like he had a huge gumball in his mouth. I realized about the same time as my mom was squealing that it was in his mouth. I literally was dry heaving as I was fishing the slimy chocking hazard out of my 10 month olds mouth! EEEEEWWWWHHHHHH! I am gagging now writing this...YUCK! Seriously how would that have been 10 month old chocks on snail (wonder if that's ever happened?).
The bubble fun probably isn't that exciting after the snail story but he thought it was the GREATEST thing ever!

And here is Beck I'll let you guess what he did with the sidewalk chalk? It shouldn't be hard to figure out!

FYI did you know you can make your own chalk? Kaden saw this once in the store so when grandma told him she would take him to the dollar store and let him pick something out he was certain he was getting animal chalk! What grandma didn't know is my 2 year old remembers everything and unfortunately for grandma the animal chalk wasn't at the dollar store. It was actually fun to let him make his own animals and colors. I'm not 2 and I thought it was neat!

What did you get free this week?

I should say (almost) free. I don't normally do posts like this. My family already tells me I am the cheapest person they have ever met ( I think they mean frugal...or maybe cheap). I am tired though of people asking why do you coupon....uh to survive law school!!! Or people saying "oh I don't have the time" or my personal favorite "I just end up spending a lot of money on things I don't need". OK come on people! The following was just this weeks SPLURGES!!! And neither of these purchases took longer than 10 minutes to plan and who doesn't need deodorant, soap, toilet paper, Easter basket stuffers, excedrine (a two year old and 9 month old...enough said). So in other words if you don't have the time or don't ever buy these things then I will keep my opinions to myself...but seriously come on?
This transaction rung up at -.73 (yes that's negative) then with tax I ended up paying 39 cents I needed toilet paper and deodorant so would have easily paid that for the TP alone. I actually got two johnson's buddies but already put one to use.

This transaction was an online order. I got the socks, shirt and shipping for the grand total of (ready for this) $1.08. Yeah it's not the cutest polo but I knew St. Patty's day was coming and Kaden's wardrobe is a little lacking in the green dept., and I ALWAYS need clothes that can get destroyed! Anyway enough said I will step off my soapbox and you probably won't have to endure reading anymore posts about couponing.
